BFLC Founded
Bible Faith Lutheran Church of India founded by the late Rev Bhushana Rao Dasari
Year 1980
BFLC of India was incorporated

Bible Faith Lutheran Church of India was incorporated and 10 island churches had
been established.

Year 1984
Moriah Children's Home Established

Moriah Children’s home has provided a home for hundreds of children and a home in a loving Christian environment.

Year 1995
BFLC Seminary was formally established.

BFLC Seminary  offers course work in seminary, pre-seminary and continuing pastoral education for pastors and non-ordained gospel workers to be thoroughly grounded in God's Word and confessional Lutheran doctrine.

Year 1999
Moriah School was founded

Moriah School was founded by the late Mrs. Deva Karuna Dasari under the Bible Faith Lutheran Church of India.
Created to increase opportunities
for children from economically disadvantaged families.

Year 2000
Leadership Change
Leadership Change - Following the death of Rev Bhushana Rao Dasari, his sons David and Paul became the directors of the Bible Faith Lutheran Church of India to ensure the continuation of the organization and ministries their father founded.
Year 2007
First Symposium was held
The BFLC hosts an annual January pastoral symposium since 2007to ensure the continuation of the organization and ministries their father founded.
Year 2011
Mrs. Karuna Dasari passed away

Mrs. Karuna Dasari passed away, but her legacy continues in the work of the
Moriah Children’s Home and School.

Year 2018
India Bible Study was established.

India Bible Study (IBS) was established.
The IBS mission is to translate the Lutheran Study Bible into the 15 Indian
languages to create an India Study Bible.

Moriah Children’s Home & School

Established in 1984 by Mrs. Deva Karuna Dasari, Moriah Children’s Home provides a nurturing environment and education to orphaned and vulnerable children. The Moriah School, founded in 1999, offers quality education to economically-disadvantaged children, shaping their futures with care.

BFLC Seminary

Founded in 1995, the BFLC Seminary provides theological education to pastors and gospel workers. Through rigorous coursework and annual classes, the seminary equips leaders with a deep understanding of Scripture and Lutheran doctrine, nurturing faith-driven individuals.

India Bible Study

Launched in 2018, the India Bible Study (IBS) translates the Lutheran Study Bible into 15 Indian languages, making Scripture accessible to all. With a focus on study aids, the IBS empowers individuals in remote villages, fostering spiritual growth and community development.
